UNIT 1 AURA
£199.90 GBP
Front and rear lights, built into the shell at head height — above parked cars and anything loaded on the bike, and further into a driver's view than a seatpost light manages. Add the UNIT 1 Remote and the rear light also brakes and signals with you. MIPS and NTA-8776 e-bike certification come as standard. UNIT 1's most complete helmet, and their most fully specified.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the AURA for?
Anyone riding an e-bike or navigating London traffic who wants to be seen properly from every angle, not just from behind. It suits daily commuters and anyone on a heavier or loaded bike, where NTA-8776's higher protection threshold matters most. Pair it with the UNIT 1 Remote and it also handles your turn signals and braking, which is worth having if you're weaving through junctions and buses.
What does the UNIT 1 Remote add?
The Remote is a small handlebar control, sold separately. Fit it and the AURA's rear light brightens automatically when you slow down, and its buttons let you signal a turn without taking a hand off the bars. Without the Remote, the front and rear lights still work exactly as normal — you just lose the signalling and automatic braking.
Try the UNIT 1 AURA at Flying Dutchman in London
We keep the AURA in stock across our London shops, and it's genuinely worth trying on rather than ordering blind — the size that fits your head shape isn't always the one you'd guess from a chart. Come in, we'll fit it properly, and if you're pairing it with the Remote we'll get both set up and talk you through the app while you're here.
