Most of what we sell is electric. These are the bikes we keep for people who’d rather do the work themselves. A pedal-power bike is simply a bike without a motor — lighter, mechanically simpler, with nothing to charge — and every one here has earned its place.
The range is small on purpose: the handmade steel Achielle Oscar and Olivia, the folding Bastille, the Muli Muskel compact cargo bike, and the Veloe Multi Power for carrying children and cargo under your own steam.
Every bike is built and checked in our own workshop before you collect it, and test rides are by appointment at our Camden, Notting Hill and Hackney shops. If you’re weighing pedal power against electric, come and ride both back to back — our electric range is the other half of the answer.
