How do I know which accessories fit my Tern bike?

Compatibility depends on your exact model and its generation — a GSD Gen 3 takes different parts from an HSD or a Quick Haul. The easiest way to see what fits your bike is to browse its accessory collection: Tern GSD, Tern HSD, Tern Quick Haul or Tern Quick Haul Long accessories. Can I carry two children on a Tern?

Yes — on the GSD and Quick Haul Long using the Clubhouse Gen 3, which carries two children in or out of child seats. The compact HSD and Quick Haul carry one child using the Clubhouse Mini.

How do I set up a Tern for all-weather child carrying?

On the full-size bikes, the Clubhouse Gen 3, Storm Box and Storm Shield Gen 3 combine into the Clubhouse Fort — a fully enclosed, weatherproof passenger compartment. On the compact HSD and Quick Haul, the Mini versions (Storm Box Mini and Storm Shield Mini Gen 2) build the Clubhouse Fort Mini for one child.

Can I carry a dog on a Tern bike?

Yes. For small dogs up to 7 kg, the RuffHouse is a front carrier that keeps them in view. For dogs up to 13.5 kg, the rear Doghouse Mini setup — the Clubhouse Mini, Soft Crate Mini and Dog Roof Mini — turns the back of the bike into an enclosed dog carrier.

Many Tern accessories are tool-free and quick to fit at home, but passenger and weather-protection setups can get involved and compatibility matters. We are happy to fit them or talk you through the options at our London stores — book an appointment and bring your bike in.
