The Tern Quick Haul Long is a straightforward family cargo bike, similar in length to a regular bike but built to carry two children, an adult passenger, a dog, the weekly shopping, and everything else a family day involves.

With a 90 kg rear rack capacity, a 190 kg maximum gross vehicle weight, a Bosch Cargo Line motor with 85 Nm of torque, and a 400 Wh battery, it has the foundations of a proper cargo bike. It is tested to the DIN 79010 cargo bike safety standard at its full weight rating, and the Bosch e-bike system is UL 2849 certified for electrical and fire safety.

Two children and the school run

The Quick Haul Long is designed around two-child carrying. The Clubhouse Gen 3 is the foundation of the passenger system, and with the Storm Shield Gen 3, it handles wet school runs and colder mornings without drama. The Captain's Chair Gen 2 is the go-to seating option for older children and adult passengers.

Shopping, cargo and everyday hauling

The Stow Decks add side platforms that support panniers, bulky cargo and passengers’ feet — locking at five different angles and folding away neatly when not in use. The Cargo Hold 52 panniers are the largest in the Tern range and sit cleanly on the Quick Haul Long’s rack.

Dogs and trailer use

The integrated TowBar takes a standard trailer hitch, so you can attach a passenger, cargo or pet trailer directly to the frame. Add the Bike Tow Kit to bring an extra bike, or the Tail Hitch L to shift a loaded trailer further back and clear space for panniers.

Bosch Cargo Line support

The Quick Haul Long D9 uses Bosch Cargo Line support with up to 85 Nm of torque — the same motor that powers the Tern GSD. This is not the standard mid-range city motor; it is purpose-built for loaded family riding.
