Tern Sun Shield Mini

The Sun Shield Mini is the one-passenger version of Tern's Sun Shield — a canopy that shades a child riding on the back of the Tern HSD or Quick Haul, while still letting air move through. On a still day in traffic that airflow matters more than it sounds.

Tern's full-size Sun Shield is built around UPF 50-rated fabric, roll-up side panels for ventilation and access, reinforced aluminium poles with shock cords, reflective printing and an inner pocket; the Mini is the same idea scaled to a single passenger. Pair it with the Rain Shield Mini, which snaps on over the top when the weather turns — between them they cover most of what a British summer manages in an afternoon.
