Tern Rain Shield Mini

The Rain Shield Mini is the one-passenger version of Tern's Rain Shield — an add-on cover that snaps onto the Sun Shield Mini and turns it into a rain canopy for a child on the Tern HSD or Quick Haul.

It is meant to go on and come off as the forecast changes rather than live on the bike. It carries a 12,000 mm waterproof rating — enough for proper downpours, not just drizzle — with large roll-up panels for a clear view and easy passenger access, reflective printing, and snap buttons for tool-free fitting. At 0.6 kg it packs down small enough to live in a pannier.

Requires the Sun Shield Mini for installation. If you would rather have one canopy that stays on year-round instead of a two-part system, the Storm Shield Mini Gen 2 handles rain and sun in a single piece — ask us and we will talk you through which suits how you actually ride.
