Tern Sidekick Handle

The Sidekick Handle is the simplest passenger handhold in the Tern range — a single, sturdy grab handle that mounts directly to the rear rack rather than the seatpost. That distinction matters: because it doesn’t depend on saddle height, it works even when the saddle is set all the way down, which makes it a strong choice for shorter riders who find seatpost-mounted handholds sit too high or too low for the passenger.

Quick to fit with self-fastening straps, the aluminium handle comes with bar tape pre-supplied for a cushioned, grippy surface. Its narrow, compact design also makes it easier to walk the bike beside you without knocking your legs — and it doubles as a convenient lift handle for getting the bike over a doorstep or small obstacle.

It is the lighter-touch alternative to the Sidekick Joyride Bars Gen 3 or Sidekick Flat Bars Gen 3 — a useful upgrade for occasional passenger use, for older children who just want a quick hand-hold for the school run, or as a complementary accessory to other Sidekick passenger setups.
