Tern Clubhouse Gen 3

The Clubhouse Gen 3 turns the back of the Tern GSD or Quick Haul Long into a proper family seating space — built to carry up to two children, in or out of child seats, with the protection and structure of a wrap-around rail system rather than just a flat rack.

What makes it genuinely useful is the modular design. The Clubhouse Gen 3 comes with two rear bars: the Flat Bar (which gives 600 x 400 mm of interior space, ideal for cargo or for two big kids riding on Clubhouse Seat Pads with a Clubhouse Backrest), or the Child Seat Expansion Bar (which curves outwards to accommodate two compatible rack-mounted child seats with proper rider heel clearance — including Bobike GO Maxi, Urban Iki, Thule Yepp 2 Maxi and Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi, with room for a seat to recline without fouling the rails). As your family grows, you can mix and match: one child seat for the younger one, a seat pad and backrest for the older child.

When no passenger is on board, the Clubhouse Gen 3 also functions as a cargo rail, fitting a standard 600 x 400 mm Eurocrate or other containers. Extended side rails offer added hand protection, and four built-in bottle mounts hold water bottles, locks or coffee mugs.

The Clubhouse Gen 3 is the foundation for the Storm Box, Storm Shield Gen 3 and Clubhouse Fort — Tern’s full all-weather passenger compartment. Compatible with the Tern GSD (Gen 1, 2 and 3) and the Quick Haul Long.
