Tern Sidekick Footrests Gen 2

The Sidekick Footrests Gen 2 are wide, flat aluminium foot platforms designed for the rear passenger on all Tern HSD models. They give a stable, supportive base for varying shoe sizes — comfortable for the whole journey, not just the first ten minutes.

Built from corrosion-resistant 5052 aluminium and rated to 20 kg per side, the Footrests feature a 3M anti-slip layer that grips reliably in wet weather. Built-in slots accommodate Batten Straps for fastening down cargo when the bike is not being used to carry a passenger. They are non-retractable flat platforms designed for permanent installation.

Best paired with the Sidekick Wheel Guard M for full passenger safety, and they integrate cleanly with the rest of the HSD’s rear-rack accessory ecosystem — including Cargo Hold 37 Panniers and the Captain’s Chair Gen 2.
