Tern Quick Release CMT

The Quick Release CMT is a small but genuinely useful upgrade for anyone who fits and removes a front rack regularly. It replaces the standard bolt used to attach Combo Mount-compatible front racks with a quick-release version, letting you install or remove the rack in under a minute, without tools.

For most owners, this matters in two scenarios. If you ever load the bike into a car, taxi or train, removing the rack temporarily makes the bike noticeably easier to manoeuvre. If you switch setups for different uses — heavy cargo with the rack, child carrying without it — the Quick Release CMT turns what would be a five-minute toolbox job into a 30-second swap.
