Tern Hauler Rack

The Hauler Rack is the smaller, more manoeuvrable of Tern's two front racks — built around the same 20 kg load rating as the Transporteur Rack, but with a narrower, open-ended platform.

The open-ended design is what sets it apart. A flat platform with a bungee cord gives you a flexible base for bulky items that would not fit neatly in a crate — backpacks, boxes, larger bags, kit that does not match standard sizes. Mounting holes on the base also let you bolt a crate or basket directly to the rack for a semi-permanent setup, so you get the best of both worlds depending on what you carry.

Like the Transporteur, the Hauler mounts to the Combo Mount on the bike's head tube rather than the handlebars — so steering stays light and the bike handles predictably even with the rack fully loaded. The narrower profile is particularly useful on the HSD and Quick Haul where overall bike width matters more. It pairs cleanly with the WeatherTop Bag and WeatherTop Cooler, which clip in via Fidlock buckles.
