Tern Soft Crate Mini

The Soft Crate Mini is the rear-mounted dog and cargo carrier in Tern’s pet-friendly line-up — built to carry a small or mid-sized dog up to 13.5 kg, or 37 litres of cargo when no dog is on board. It is the central component of the Doghouse Mini, Tern’s three-part dog carrier system, and attaches to the Clubhouse Mini as its frame.

Built from durable tarpaulin and rubberised mesh, the Soft Crate Mini is designed for genuine everyday use. Mesh panels keep the cabin well ventilated, and two built-in safety tethers attach to your dog’s harness — both should be used to keep them safely in place during the ride. A spacious external pocket stores treats, waste bags and other dog gear within easy reach, and the whole thing is spray-cleanable for the inevitable adventures.

When the dog stays home, the Soft Crate Mini doubles as a 37 L cargo crate with a 13.5 kg load capacity. A bungee cargo net is included to help secure your shopping or kit. It also packs down flat when not in use — small enough to stash in a pannier.
