Tern Lockstand Extensions

The Lockstand Extensions are a small but genuinely useful upgrade for any Tern owner regularly loading kids, panniers or heavy cargo. They bolt onto the Atlas Lockstand or DuoStand Gen 3 and extend the kickstand's footprint outward at a right angle, creating a noticeably wider, more stable base while the bike is parked.

The practical difference shows up in two places. First, loading and unloading is steadier — particularly important with a child on board, or when you are wrestling fully loaded Cargo Hold 52 Panniers onto the rack. Second, the extensions stick out enough to make the kickstand easier to find with your foot, which sounds minor but becomes useful when there are panniers, a Storm Box or other accessories partially blocking access.

Strongly recommended if you are running a Storm Box setup, since the box adds enough weight and width that the standard stand can feel marginal during loading. Compatible with the Atlas Lockstand on the GSD and the DuoStand Gen 2 and Gen 3 on the HSD, Quick Haul, Quick Haul Long and Short Haul.
