Riese and Müller Multicharger3 Mixte

The Multicharger3 Mixte is the Multicharger3 with a lowered top tube — the same full-size longtail platform carrying two children on a long rear platform, the same Bosch Performance Line PX and Cargo Line motor options up to 100Nm, and the same foldable rain tent and lower protection panels, in a frame that is easier to get on and off. Available in two frame sizes — Mixte 47 and Mixte 51cm — in four colour options including Desert/Black Matt, Pearl White/Black Matt, Utility Grey/Black Matt and Utility Grey/Curry Matt. If two adults of different heights are sharing the morning school run, this is the version to consider.

Who it’s for

The Multicharger3 Mixte suits the same families as the standard Multicharger3 — those who want to carry children and commute on the same bike — with one practical addition: the lowered top tube makes mounting and dismounting meaningfully easier when you are getting on and off multiple times a day. It is also the natural choice when two adults are sharing the school run, and one finds a standard diamond frame impractical. Everything else — the carrying capacity, the rain tent, the motor options, the ride quality — is identical.

Build & technology

The Multicharger3 Mixte shares the full specification of the standard Multicharger3. The Bosch Performance Line PX (90Nm) or Cargo Line (100Nm) motors are available, with a Speed variant for faster commuting. The battery is 750Wh as standard (625Wh on the Family), extendable to around 1000Wh with the 250Wh PowerMore range extender. The foldable rain tent covers two children fully during the ride and folds completely away after drop-off. The lower protection panels create covered storage for your own bags and kit on the way to work. The rear platform carries up to 65kg. Supernova lighting, Magura disc brakes with optional Bosch eBike ABS, and Enviolo, Rohloff or Shimano gearing options across variants. Two frame sizes: Mixte 47cm and Mixte 51cm.

Two children with the right configuration of child seats and passenger rails on the rear platform. The rear is rated for 65kg. Speak to us about the right setup for your children’s ages and sizes — we will make sure the configuration is right before you order.

Two frame sizes: Mixte 47cm, suited to a height of approximately 160–175cm, and Mixte 51cm, suited to approximately 170–185cm. If you are between sizes or sharing the bike, come in and we will fit you properly.
