Security rating

No Sold Secure rating — like the Kattfix range, this is a deterrent layer for the battery itself, working alongside your main lock rather than replacing it. Your bike still needs a Sold Secure rated lock; a battery lock protects the component a frame lock leaves exposed.

Worth knowing: some insurers now surcharge or exclude e-bike batteries from cover, which is exactly the gap a battery lock closes.
