Urban Arrow Breeze

The Urban Arrow Breeze is the brand’s first longtail — a cargo bike that carries the children and the shopping but rides like a normal bike. The wheelbase is close to a regular city bike, so it’s easy to thread through traffic, park in an ordinary space and live with day to day.

Up to two children ride on the extended rear rack, with seats, footrests and cushions that clip on tool-free through the MIK system, while a Suntour suspension fork, a Bosch Cargo Line motor, stepless Enviolo gears and a Gates carbon belt do the hard work. Total capacity is up to 200 kg, including you.

It’s the one bike for the whole routine — school in the morning, the big shop on the way home, a solo errand at the weekend. Available in black or green. Browse the Breeze accessories, or come and ride one at our Camden, Notting Hill and Hackney shops.

A cargo bike that rides like a normal bike

The Breeze is Urban Arrow’s first longtail, and it’s the easiest cargo bike they’ve made to ride. The wheelbase is close to a normal city bike, so it tips into corners naturally, filters through traffic and parks in an ordinary space — there’s very little to get used to.

The load sits low over the rear wheel rather than out front, which keeps the bike planted and familiar even with two children and a week’s shopping on board.

Room for the children and the shopping

Up to two children ride on the extended rear rack, with seats, a backrest, footrests and cushions that all clip on and off tool-free through the MIK system. It suits older children especially well — they can hop on and off themselves, with their legs shielded from the wheel and belt.

When the children aren’t aboard, the same rack takes panniers, baskets and bags, and there’s a front carrier as well. Total capacity is up to 200 kg including you, so the school run and the big shop become the same trip.

Smooth, stable and easy in the city

A Suntour suspension fork takes the edge off London’s potholes, cobbles and dropped kerbs, and the low, central load keeps the Breeze steady at the lights and easy to balance from a standstill.

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes give controlled stopping with a full load, and Schwalbe Big Ben Plus tyres add grip and comfort on city streets. It’s a big-capacity bike that still feels light on its feet.

Urban Arrow

Made for London family life

For families who want one bike for everything — school in the morning, the shop on the way home, a solo ride at the weekend — the Breeze does it without the size or the learning curve of a front-loader. In London that means no congestion charge, no ULEZ, no fuel and a normal-sized parking spot, and it’s welcome in every low- and zero-emission zone.

Come and ride the Breeze in London

Set yours up with the Breeze accessories — child seats, cushions, footrests and panniers, all tool-free through MIK — and pick the battery that suits your distances. Built to order in black or green.

We ride these bikes ourselves and keep the range across our Camden, Notting Hill and Hackney shops — come and feel how easy a longtail can be. As a Bosch quality partner we set every bike up properly, include a free first service at 500 km, and can recommend Laka if you’d like insurance. We’re also a Cycle to Work retailer.

FAQs

How many children can the Urban Arrow Breeze carry?

Up to two children ride on the extended rear rack, on seats that clip on tool-free through the MIK system, with footrests, cushions and leg protection. It suits older children particularly well, since they can climb on and off themselves. Total capacity is up to 200 kg including you, the children and any cargo.

How is the Breeze different from Urban Arrow’s front-loaders?

The Breeze is Urban Arrow’s first longtail. Instead of a box up front, the load goes on an extended rear rack, which gives a wheelbase close to a normal city bike. It rides and parks much like an ordinary bike, so there’s far less to get used to than a front-loader, while still carrying children and shopping.

Which motor, gears and battery does the Breeze use?

A Bosch Cargo Line motor with 85 Nm of torque, tuned to pull away smoothly from a standstill under load, with stepless Enviolo gears and a Gates carbon belt for twist-and-go shifting and no chain to oil. You can choose a Bosch PowerPack battery in 400, 545 or 800 Wh to match your daily distances.

How far can the Breeze go on one charge?

With the 400 Wh battery, expect up to around 80 km on flat routes and roughly 50 km on hillier ones; the 545 Wh and 800 Wh options go further again. Real range depends on load, terrain, weather and assistance, so we can talk you through realistic figures for your rides.
