Tern Sidekick Stirrups

The Sidekick Stirrups give big-kid passengers a secure, natural-feeling place to put their feet on the rear of a Tern bike. Flexible “stirrup” cups hug the feet on three sides — keeping legs tucked safely against the bike rather than drifting outwards towards the wheel, which is exactly what older kids tend to do once they have outgrown a structured child seat.

They are designed for passengers over 110 cm tall and 18–45 kg in weight, and become a must-have for carrying a big kid on the Tern HSD, Quick Haul or Short Haul when full-coverage cargo bags like the Cargo Hold 37 Panniers or Storm Box Mini are not in use. They are tool-free to install and remove, and they flat-fold when no passenger is on board.
