The most accessible way into the Tern GSD family cargo bike range

The GSD P10 gives you the full GSD carrying platform in its simplest and most accessible form. It is built for families who want the core Tern GSD experience — school runs, shopping, everyday luggage and full rear-rack capacity — without moving into belt drive, hub gearing or the higher-spec models.

The P10 has the same compact longtail format that makes the GSD so capable: 100 kg rear rack limit, 210 kg maximum gross vehicle weight, 20-inch wheels and a frame designed to carry heavy loads while still feeling manageable day to day.

Who is the Tern GSD P10 best for?

The P10 is the right starting point if you want the full Tern GSD carrying platform at the most accessible price.

It suits families who need a practical electric cargo bike for school runs, nursery drop-offs, shopping and everyday carrying. With the right passenger accessories, it carries two children. The Shimano 10-speed drivetrain keeps the setup familiar and straightforward to maintain.

Choose the P10 if you want Bosch Cargo Line support, 100 kg rear rack capacity, and the GSD's compact longtail format — without belt drive, hub gearing or the cost of higher-spec models.

Drivetrain and riding feel

The GSD P10 uses Shimano Deore 10-speed derailleur gearing. It feels familiar to anyone used to a conventional bicycle drivetrain, and keeps the bike simple, efficient and straightforward to service.

Compared with the P00 or R14, the P10 will need more regular chain and derailleur maintenance — but it also keeps the price down and the setup uncomplicated. If you want the GSD's carrying capacity in its most accessible form, this is it.
