The Cruiser2 Mixte is R&M's elegant city bike: an upright, easy-going ride with a Bosch Performance Line drive, Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gearing and a belt drive in place of an oiled chain. Ours served as our demo bike and is in as-new condition, and it comes with a full pre-delivery inspection by our mechanics before it leaves the store.

Who it’s for

The Cruiser2 Mixte suits riders who want an upright, elegant city bike that asks very little of them. Hub gears and a belt drive keep day-to-day maintenance to a minimum, the suspension fork and wide Schwalbe Big Ben tyres smooth out London's roads, and the Mixte frame is easy to step across. The lights, mudguards, rear rack, kickstand and bell are all fitted — it is a complete bike for riding every day in ordinary clothes, with a front carrier for your bag.

The bike is built around the Bosch Performance Line drive (smart system) with a 545 Wh PowerPack battery and the Kiox 300 colour display. Gearing is the Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub with a Gates belt drive, braking is by Magura hydraulic rim brakes, and Busch & Müller lighting, SKS mudguards, a racktime rear rack and a front carrier are all fitted.
