The A1000 is the compact anchor in Hiplok's 1000 Series, built from the same composite as the D1000 — a material that wears down angle grinder discs rather than yielding to them. It was designed for wall mounting, which is the version of this problem most London households actually have: a narrow side return or a shed where floor space is already spoken for.

A 360° rotating base means you can reach it from whatever angle the bike ends up at, rather than manoeuvring the bike to suit the anchor. It fits concrete or masonry, wall or floor, inside or out, and pairs with the D1000 or DX1000.

Worth knowing before you fit it: the ball bearings must be installed for the anchor to reach its rated security, and once they are in, the anchor cannot be removed or relocated. Decide on the position first.
