The UNIT 1 Remote is the handlebar control that brings the AURA, FARO and NEON to life. On its own, a UNIT 1 helmet lights you up front and rear; pair the Remote and it does the two things that let traffic read your next move. Its built-in accelerometer senses when you slow and fires the rear light as a brake light — no button, at a sensitivity you set in the app — and its no-look buttons let you signal a turn without taking a hand off the bars. It mounts on the handlebar, comes with its dock, and is sold separately from the helmets. If you want your UNIT 1 helmet to signal and brake with you, this is the part that makes it happen.

Compatibility

Works with the UNIT 1 AURA, FARO and NEON smart helmets, adding turn signals and an automatic brake light to each. It isn't needed for the SPARKY kids' helmet, which has no connectivity. One Remote pairs with your helmet over the UNIT 1 app.
