Tern Cache Box

Think of the Cache Box as the glove compartment of your Tern HSD — a discreet, frame-bolted bag that bolts under the seatstay and holds the kit you want close to hand but out of sight. Roadside essentials like a chain lock, hand pump, inner tubes and pocket tools all fit comfortably in the 1.9 litre space, up to a 2 kg load.

The stiff, frame-bolted construction is the point: it does not swing around while you ride, and it is not the kind of thing an opportunist can lift off in a moment. Water-resistant EVA material keeps the contents dry in British weather, and the discreet design blends into the frame so the bike still looks clean.

A particularly good pairing with the HSD’s integrated frame lock: stash an Abus chain inside the Cache Box, and you have a proper locking setup that lives on the bike. Compatible with both HSD Gen 1 and Gen 2 (installation method differs slightly between generations).
