The UBN Six is the comfort-oriented model of the UBN range — a full step-through frame, 50mm wide tyres for a more cushioned ride over London's roads, and the same Fazua Ride 60 drive that makes all three UBN bikes notably light and quiet. It comes in three colours — Black Matt, Night and Pure White — in Touring and Silent variants, with GPS tracking and a digital alarm fitted as standard.

The UBN Six is for anyone who wants the UBN character — lightweight, connected, minimal — in a frame that is easy to step through and a ride that prioritises comfort. The wider tyres and full step-through geometry make it the most accessible of the three UBN models, and the most forgiving on rough surfaces. It suits people who commute daily and want a bike that is easy to live with in every respect — getting on and off, riding over uneven roads, locking up and moving through the city without thinking about the bike itself.

Build & technology

The Fazua Ride 60 motor delivers 60Nm of torque, with the motor and 480Wh battery integrated into the frame. The full step-through frame has a stand-over height of around 58–61cm depending on frame size — meaningfully lower than the UBN Seven's lowered top tube. The 50mm Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres are wider than the 42mm tyres on the Five and Seven, giving a noticeably more cushioned ride on London's roads without sacrificing efficiency. Supernova Mini2 lighting, integrated RX Chip with GPS tracking and digital alarm standard across all variants. Available in Touring (Shimano Deore 11-speed) and Silent (Shimano Alfine 8-speed, belt drive). Suspension fork and comfort kit available as options. Three frame sizes: 45, 51, and 57cm.

FAQs

The Six is a full step-through — you walk through the frame rather than lifting your leg over a top tube. The Seven has a lowered top tube, which is easier than a standard diamond frame but not a full step-through. The Six also has wider 50mm tyres compared to the Seven's 42mm, giving a more comfortable ride on rough surfaces. The Seven is slightly sportier; the Six is more relaxed and more accessible.

The Fazua Ride 60 is lighter and quieter than Bosch, with a more natural ride feel at low assistance levels. It delivers 60Nm of torque — less than the Bosch Performance Line CX at 85–100Nm — but for urban riding at typical city speeds, the difference is rarely felt. The UBN bikes are meaningfully lighter than Bosch-powered R&M models as a result. If maximum torque for hills or heavy loads matters, a Bosch-powered model is worth considering. For everyday city commuting, the Fazua suits the UBN's character well.

Yes — the RX Chip is standard across all UBN models. It connects via the RX Connect app for GPS location tracking, a digital motion alarm, and automatic ride recording. The first year of ConnectRide service is included free of charge, covering theft tracking and ride statistics.
