The Roadster4 Mixte is the Roadster4 with a lowered top tube — the same Bosch Performance Line CX motor, Magura hydraulic disc brakes and 625Wh integrated battery, in a frame that is easier to mount and dismount without sacrificing the Roadster’s clean lines or performance. Available in two frame sizes — 45 and 53cm — in Crystal White and Salvia Matt, in Touring and Vario variants.

Who it’s for

The Roadster4 Mixte is for the committed urban commuter who wants a quick, responsive city bike with a cleaner entry point than a standard diamond frame. It suits anyone who covers real distance to work and wants a bike that performs as well as it looks — and finds a high-top tube impractical, whether for clothing, preference or sharing the bike between two adults of different heights. The Vario version — Enviolo continuously variable hub with Gates carbon belt drive — suits the stop-start rhythm of London riding particularly well.

Build & technology

The Bosch Performance Line CX delivers 85Nm of torque — capable on London’s hills and decisive into headwinds. The lowered top tube gives a meaningfully lower stand-over height than a standard diamond frame, while maintaining the Roadster’s geometry and handling character. A Suntour front suspension fork takes the edge off the roads. Magura MT hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable, modulated stopping in all conditions. The 625Wh integrated battery sits flush within the frame. Available in Touring (Shimano 11-speed derailleur) and Vario (Enviolo continuously variable hub, Gates carbon belt drive) variants. Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres, Supernova lighting. Two frame sizes: 45 and 53cm, in Crystal White and Salvia Matt.

FAQs

Yes — same motor, battery, brakes and specification. The performance is identical. The only difference is the frame shape: the Mixte has a lowered top tube, making it easier to mount and dismount.

The Touring has a Shimano 11-speed derailleur — traditional gear shifting, lighter weight, lower starting point. The Vario has an Enviolo continuously variable hub and Gates carbon belt drive — stepless shifting, no derailleur and virtually no mechanical maintenance. For daily commuting in London, the Vario is the one most of our customers choose.

The Roadster4 Mixte is available in two frame sizes — 45cm, suited to heights around 160–175cm, and 53cm, suited to around 170–185cm — in Crystal White and Salvia Matt. Demo bikes are available to try at Flying Dutchman and we can order any colour configuration.
