The Roadster is R&M's quick city all-rounder: the full-power Bosch Performance Line CX drive with a 625 Wh battery in the frame and precise Shimano Deore XT 11-speed gearing. Ours served as our demo bike and is in as-new condition, and it comes with a full pre-delivery inspection by our mechanics before it leaves the store.

One Roadster touring in black matt, frame size 51cm — sized by R&M for riders roughly 1.65–1.80m. The rear carrier and the ABUS frame lock with chain lock and bag are fitted, and the battery was upgraded to 625 Wh when we ordered it. It runs the Bosch Performance Line CX drive with the Purion display and shifts through Shimano's Deore XT 11-speed drivetrain. It served as our demo bike and is in as-new condition — before handover it receives a full pre-delivery inspection and service by our mechanics, exactly as a brand-new bike would.

Who it’s for

The Roadster suits riders who want a quick, dependable city bike with a motor that flattens hills: the Bosch Performance Line CX is R&M's full-power drive, and the 625 Wh battery is sized for long weeks between charges. The Deore XT derailleur gives a wide, familiar gear range, the suspension fork and 40mm tyres take the edge off rough tarmac, and the carrier, lights, mudguards and kickstand are all fitted.

Build & technology

The bike is built around the Bosch Performance Line CX (Gen4) drive with a 625 Wh PowerTube battery integrated in the frame and the Purion display. Gearing is Shimano's Deore XT 11-speed derailleur drivetrain, braking is by Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes, and Supernova and Busch & Müller lighting, SKS mudguards, a kickstand, the rear carrier and the ABUS frame lock with chain lock are all fitted. The build is exactly as delivered by Riese & Müller, and the specification below describes this exact bike.
