Gazelle Grenoble C5

Gazelle Grenoble Dutch electric city bike Gazelle Grenoble Dutch electric city bike

Gazelle Grenoble C5

The Gazelle Grenoble C5 is a comfortable, neatly finished Dutch city e-bike. It combines Gazelle’s upright riding position and an easy low step-through with a smooth Bosch mid-motor, a low-maintenance Gates belt drive, and suspension at both the fork and seatpost for a settled ride over London’s streets. Built by Royal Dutch Gazelle and sold at Flying Dutchman in London.

Gazelle Grenoble Dutch electric city bike

Comfortable, quiet and neatly integrated

The Grenoble is built for relaxed, upright city riding, with a low, wide step-through that makes getting on and off easy. A Bosch Performance Line mid-motor gives smooth, natural assistance up to 25 km/h, with 75 Nm of torque for hills and headwinds, and the motor, 540 or 600 Wh battery and cables are tidily integrated into the frame. A suspension fork and suspension seatpost take the sting out of broken tarmac and dropped kerbs, and leather grips and a gel saddle finish the comfortable feel.

Who it’s for

The Grenoble suits people who want a calm, comfortable city bike that does the everyday jobs without fuss — commuting, errands and weekend rides — on a low step-through that’s easy to live with. If you value a quiet, low-maintenance bike and a settled ride over London’s broken tarmac and dropped kerbs, it’s a natural fit.

Build and technology

A Bosch Performance Line mid-motor gives smooth, natural assistance up to 25 km/h, with 75 Nm of torque for hills and headwinds, drawing on a 540 or 600 Wh battery shown on a Bosch Kiox display. Gears are a Shimano 5-speed hub paired with a Gates belt drive, which runs clean, quiet and oil-free with far less upkeep than a chain. A suspension fork and suspension seatpost, balloon tyres, hydraulic disc brakes, full lights and a frame lock complete it.

What sizes does the Grenoble come in?

It comes in low-step frames from XS to XL, so it fits a wide range of people. We’ll fit it to you before you collect it.
