Moustache Xroad

The Xroad is Moustache’s low step-through crossover — the one-bike answer for people who don’t want to own two. It carries the easy, upright manners of a city bike, with full commuting kit, but adds the tyres, suspension and grip to keep going where the smooth tarmac stops: canal towpaths, gravel lanes and forest tracks. Bosch power and the Smart System run throughout.

There are two sides to the range. The front-suspension Xroad 2 smooths broken tarmac and light trails; the full-suspension Xroad FS 6 adds a rear shock for the roughest ground. All made in France, all built to go just about anywhere.

What’s the difference between the Xroad and the Xroad FS?

The Xroad has front suspension — a fork and a suspension seatpost — which is plenty for towpaths and light trails. The Xroad FS adds a rear shock for full front-and-rear suspension, so it stays composed on rougher lanes, gravel and forest tracks. Both keep the low step-through frame and full commuting kit.
Which Xroad should I choose?

The Xroad 2 suits mostly-road riding with the odd towpath or trail, while the FS 6 is the full-suspension choice for regular rough ground, with the most powerful motor and the most capable build in the range. Tell us where you ride and we’ll point you to the right one.
Is the Xroad good for both commuting and light off-road?

Yes — that’s exactly what it’s built for. It keeps the rack, lights and mudguards of a proper commuter, but the wide tyres, suspension and Bosch torque let it handle towpaths, gravel and packed trails comfortably. Think adventurous commuter, not trail bike.
