The Load5 75 is the cargo bike families choose when they are serious about replacing a car — and the one that surprises most people when they first ride it. Build & technology

The extremely low centre of gravity is the Load5 75's most underappreciated quality — it is what makes a full-size cargo bike feel manageable and even enjoyable to ride, even when the box is carrying two children and a week's shopping. Full Control Technology suspension — front fork and rear swingarm — keeps it composed over London's roads at any load. The Bosch Gen 5 Cargo Line motor reaches 100Nm of torque, and the integrated braking system distributes braking force front and rear for confident stopping under full load. The new standard dropper seatpost lowers at the touch of a button, making it significantly easier and safer to mount a heavily loaded bike. The optional Performance Package adds individually adjustable air suspension for anyone covering serious daily distances. DualBattery up to 1600Wh removes range from the equation entirely. A variety of gearing options are available, including High Speed variants for faster commuting. The integrated RX Chip is fitted as standard, adding GPS tracking and a digital alarm with a year of ConnectRide included.

The number refers to the box width — 60cm or 75cm. The 75cm box is wide enough for two children side by side with genuine comfort, and for bulkier cargo loads. The 60cm box is narrower and more maneuverable in tight spaces, and suits families carrying one child or primarily using the bike for cargo. We are happy to talk through which suits your situation.
