Gazelle Paris C7+

The Gazelle Paris C7+ is a comfortable, well-equipped electric city bike — an easy, upright everyday ride for commuting, errands and getting around town. It pairs a smooth Bosch Active Line Plus motor with a low step-through aluminium frame, Shimano 7-speed hub gears and a full kit of lights, mudguards, rack and lock as standard. Built by Royal Dutch Gazelle and sold at Flying Dutchman in London.

An easy, upright city bike

The Paris C7+ is a comfortable everyday electric bike — made for short city trips, the commute and the shops rather than for distance or big hills. You sit upright and relaxed, with a low, wide step-through frame that’s easy to get on and off in traffic, a suspension fork and a suspended seatpost to take the sting out of London’s potholes and broken tarmac, and 28-inch wheels that roll smoothly over rough surfaces.

Bosch power, Gazelle equipment

A Bosch Active Line Plus mid-motor gives quiet, natural-feeling assistance up to 25 km/h — smooth and unobtrusive, well suited to flatter city riding — with a 400 or 500 Wh battery that slides in and out of the rack and a clear Bosch Purion display at the bars. Gears are Shimano’s 7-speed Nexus hub with a fully enclosed chain, so there’s little to maintain and nothing to get oil on your clothes. Lights, mudguards, a rack with the MIK quick-fit system, a frame lock and hydraulic disc brakes are all part of the bike, so it’s ready to ride in all weather from day one.

The Paris comes in low-step and high-step frames across six sizes, XS to XXL, so we’ll fit it to you before you collect it. You can book a test ride at one of our London shops, every electric bike we sell includes a free first service at 500 km, and we work with Bosch as a quality partner. If you ride steep hills often or carry heavy loads, a Gazelle with a higher-torque Bosch Performance motor, such as the Avignon, will suit you better, and we can point you to one.
